Gratitude is Everything

You may not think that making gratitude lists is a big deal, but it is to The God of the Universe. So here is the thing: you have to be genuine when showing gratitude for your blessings, ie: the things you are thankful for.

If you are having a difficult day and the only thing that brings you happiness for the day is the fact it was a sunny day, list that. And by the way, everyone has bad days, and it is normal to want to tell the world off at times. Just focus on your blessings for each day, and God’s Universe will help you manifest what you want.

What you appreciate, appreciates!

When you learn to appreciate what you already have, you will find yourself having more to appreciate!

Gratefulness means “Great-Fullness!” Get ready to be “full” in your heart, spirit, your dream, purpose… in your home and provision!

I have learned that if I cannot in my own strength change the situation then I can change me! Shift my focus as to what I was looking at, this was a huge help for me. Once I took gratitude more seriously and began being intentional with it.

I have had many seasons of struggle and I have also been very blessed.

GRATEFUL” is a powerful word I can’t emphasize enough to you. IT’S CRITICAL TO UNDERSTAND AND ACTIVATE!

3 Reasons to Practice GRATITUDE

  • Gratitude restores peace – it realigns your heart to trust and settles your soul.
  • Gratitude attracts favor - as opportunities come your way.
  • Gratitude exercises faith – replaces the focus on the problem and complaining.

Complaining and seeing the negative undermines hope and keeps you disempowered, negative and overwhelmed.

Life’s circumstances can rob us all of all the things that we could be grateful and thankful for.

Make it a disciplined habit in the morning as you get up and in the evenings before you go to sleep to think of three different things each time you can be grateful for and give thanks as you focus on them and see them.

So many people do life poorly often because they live in the past and or in the future. Some regret that they did not change things in the past and do not like how their lives turned out. And there are so many others who fixate on what could happen in the future. Sure, your situation right now may not be ideal, but if you focus on that too much, then you won’t move on and all you will attract is more of the same things you don’t want or are fearful that will happen.

The biggest problem is our mind: the disappointments, hurts, bitterness, doubts that plague us.

You have not only to show gratitude for the things going right in your life, but envision what you want, pause a moment see it in your mind’s eye, and feel what would it be like if it was true, and happening right now, ask yourself how would you be? And set your heart on been grateful it will come about, be expectant. It’s a powerful tool when activated.

I want to make this clear. None of this is magical. It is about gratitude being ingrained in your subconscious mind, which does not stop you from having some human feelings, but once ingrained your subconscious mind will help keep you genuinely grateful for the things you love in your life, which will keep bringing more of those things that will keep making you happy.

Psalm 116 :17 talks of offering up a sacrifice of thanksgiving, even in the midst trials.

If you can grab hold of these TRUTHS then you can TRANSFORM whatever environment you inhabit to one of “GREAT-FULLNESS.” The greatest thing about that TRANSFORMATION is that having gratefulness allows you to truly experience the supernatural in everyday life!

Scripture tells us to “give thanks in all circumstances,” but what does that look like in our daily lives? When disappointment, hurt, or tragedy comes—how can we still be grateful? We serve a faithful God who never leaves us. In His presence we find a constant supply of strength, peace, and joy. And He promises to turn everything around for our GOOD and His glory!

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 4:6-7 (ESV)

Our Heavenly Father heals our past, gives us strength for today, and holds our future! He is forever good and faithful! When we reflect on all that He has done for us, we can’t help but give Him all the glory, honor, and praise! Our thanksgiving is the currency of Heaven.

Psalm 100:4 (The Message Version). “I will enter His courts with thanksgiving”

“Enter with the password: “Thank you!” Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him”
